Activity 9.1.2 – Reading and Vocabulary

Ray and his wife, Deborah, have lived across the street from Ray’s parents for three years now. In fact, they have lived there since their twins were born. It has been very stressful because Frank, Ray’s father, Marie, his mother, and Robert, his brother, keep dropping in all the time. She really wants to find another home, but, according to Ray, they can’t afford to. Why on earth did she agree to buy a house so close to her in-laws?
